HOW TO INSTALL QUICK FIT CHAINS (OUR MOST POPULAR OPTION)

With quick-fit chains from Western Auto, you’ll be ready for winter driving. These chains are easy to install with our step-by-step guide available in every package of quick-fit chains.

Installation

  1. Place chains onto your tire and connect the cable.
  2. Connect the red hook.
  3. Check the diamond shape.
  4. Connect the red chain along the bottom.
  5. Using the bungee end of the red chain, pull it through one or both of the red loops and secure it to a gold-side chain opposite the red loops.
  6. Repeat for the second tire.

The mechanic dove right in and took care of a difficult spot, where the coil not so easy, that model of expedition for its changing. He lay flat out under the hood until the job was done, where I feared the expense total, once it was done. A shock to me not what you might think, but a fair cost for work performed. A cost and bill on a Sunday, just as if that of an average working day. Thank You Napa at this very store. Fine people and fine workmanship, that is for sure.
